Connecting Claude

Set up the HyperIron MCP connection so Claude can access your training data.

Prerequisites

  • A HyperIron account with an active program
  • Access to Claude (via claude.ai, the Claude desktop app, or Claude Code)

Setup

Claude.ai (Web)

  1. Go to claude.ai
  2. Open Settings > Integrations
  3. Find HyperIron in the available integrations
  4. Click Connect and authorize access to your HyperIron account
  5. Start a new conversation — Claude now has access to your training data

Claude Desktop App

  1. Open the Claude desktop app
  2. Go to Settings > MCP Servers
  3. Add HyperIron as an MCP server
  4. Authorize access when prompted
  5. Claude can now use HyperIron tools in conversations

Verifying the connection

Start a conversation and ask Claude something about your training:

What's my current program?

If connected, Claude will use the get_current_program tool to fetch and display your active program details. If not connected, it will tell you it doesn't have access.

Privacy

  • Claude only accesses your data when you start a conversation and ask about training
  • Your data is not stored by Claude between conversations
  • You can disconnect at any time by removing the integration

Troubleshooting

Claude says it can't access HyperIron: Check that the integration is still connected in your settings. Try disconnecting and reconnecting.

Data seems outdated: Claude fetches fresh data each time you ask. If your latest workout isn't showing, make sure it was synced (check the mobile app sync status if you logged on mobile).
